History

The Roxborough Development Corporation (RDC) is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit, economic development organization dedicated to enhancing and supporting the growth of the Roxborough neighborhoods and Ridge Avenue commercial corridor.

HISTORY

The Roxborough Development Corporation (RDC) was formed in 1992, when a group of volunteers from area civic associations, residents, and the Roxborough business community teamed together to pursue a two-pronged goal of improved quality of life and commerce in the area.

In 2003, a Business Improvement District (BID) was created for Roxborough, which provided the RDC with a concrete apparatus for funding.

RDC is also a Registered Community Organization (RCO) that shares oversight of the BID zoning & development with neighborhood RCOs.

The RDC is a registered 501 (c) (3) organization.
